Parliament building
The parliament building is one of the main tourist attractions in Ottawa. This is Canada’s parliament building. This year is the 100th anniversary for the fire that burnt down the original centre block. The original centre block burnt down in 1916. The new parliament building was completed in 1922. The peace tower is another attraction in Ottawa. The peace tower is a large tower which is apart of the parliament building. It has four large clocks, one on each side. At a height of nearly 98 metres, the Peace Tower is the dominant feature on Parliament Hill, and probably the most widely recognized symbol of Canada after the flag. (Explore the Peace Tower )

Ottawa has a wide variety of cultures. Because it is so close to Quebec, there are a lot of french speaking people as well as english. Ottawa has food from all over the world because of all the people that come. Tourists come from all over the world to look at the beautiful city.
